Introduction

Objectives
This course aims to know the causes of cracks in concrete as it is necessary for the designer to provide means to prevent cracks in the executive drawings and necessary for the supervisor of implementation to avoid cracks with proper description of the means of implementation and necessary for the executing engineer to follow the procedures that prevent or reduce cracks. Concrete properties affecting the occurrence of cracks and discusses in detail twenty-seven different types of cracks and the reasons for the occurrence of each of them, as well as how to classify and determine the extent of their seriousness.
