Introduction

Course description:

• If the organization seeks to achieve limited improvement, this may be achieved through daily methods and practices of management, but the situation is different if what is required is to bring about a comprehensive and complete development and improvement of the organization’s operations, extending to include all its parts, then it is not possible to suffice with the daily methods and practices of management, modification and change in them. However, what is required is to bring about a change to the extent of the required development, meaning the need for fundamental developments for the organization’s basic mission as well as for its general purposes, and thus its detailed goals. All of this requires strategic planning, which represents the means through which all activities of the organization can be unified, and coordination between organizational levels can be achieved. Therefore, this program aims, through its topics, at how to achieve quality in the strategic planning process in accordance with the European Institutional Excellence Model “European Foundation for Quality Management.”
 

Objectives :

  • Refine and develop participants’ abilities on how to apply best practices and methodologies related to strategic planning and develop strategic plans in accordance with the standards of the European Excellence Model EFQM.
