  • General introduction to internal combustion engines.
  • The history of engine development so far.
  • Four- and two-stroke sessions.
  • Study the types and causes of malfunctions in the lubrication cycle.
  • Study the types and causes of malfunctions in the refrigeration cycle.
  • Study the types and causes of malfunctions in the fuel cycle.
  • Study the types and causes of malfunctions in the ignition cycle.
  • Study the types and causes of malfunctions in the exhaust cycle.
  • Diesel engine combustion problems.
  • Study and explanation of the phenomenon of knocking.
  • Study and explanation of the phenomenon of pre-ignition.
  • Learn how to check diesel engines through (oil color - vibrations - exhaust color - ............... etc.).
  • Diagnose faults for diesel engines.
  • Diagnose faults for the air charging system (turbocharged) in diesel engines.
  • Maintenance planning for diesel engines.
  • A case study of the application of maintenance systems to diesel engines.
